This plugin connects to OpenAI/ChatGPT (api.openai.com), Anthropic/Claude (api.anthropic. com), Google/Gemini (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) or OpenRouter (openrouter. ai) in PHP from the WordPress admin in order to faciliate the translations. When a WordPress author has the plugin activated, has entered their OpenAI API key in the settings, and clicks new translation from Polylang, the plugin will send the post title and post content to the selected service for tranlsation. ## Installation This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working. 1. If not already installed, install and activate the Polylang plugin https://www. wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/ 2. Upload entire `ai-translate-polylang` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress 4. Edit AI Translate settings at Languages -> AI Translate 5. This is probably easy to adapt, but there's no github for the code so I can't help with my own code (sorry, i'll never use SVN again 😁) The concept is fine, it can grow adding more buttons/actions for the user so he can choose when to translate and from/to whatever the user wants, then the LLM does the work. It works reasonably well for translating articles and simple pages, but for complex ones with lots of shortcodes, it doesn't work. I made a similar one myself, but ran into the same problems. It works excellently, and I'm really satisfied with its functionality. However, I have a feature request that would be incredibly helpful for my use case. Currently, when sending long requests to ChatGPT, I run into limitations where the response exceeds the token limits. As a result, I only receive about 20-30% of the page's content due to the response being cut off. Would it be possible to add a feature that allows splitting the response into multiple parts? This way, I could handle longer outputs more effectively without losing valuable content. Thank you so much for considering this!
