by.Video is a privacy-focused video meeting solution that lets you easily add secure
video meetings to your WordPress site.
 It’s designed for lawyers, consultants,

### External services

This plugin connects to by.video and loads our meeting page in an iframe.
 The WebRTC
client utilize by.video WebSocket and STUN/TURN servers for signaling and media 
routing (ICE) in order to facilitate the video meeting. All communication is encrypted
and media is encrypted end-to-end. We do not collect, store, or share any personal

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/by-video` directory, or install
    via the WordPress plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
 3. Use the `[by_video rid="myroom"]` shortcode to embed a meeting.

## FAQ

### Does by.Video store meeting data?

No. by.Video is designed with privacy in mind. No recordings or personal data are
stored on our servers.

### Do participants need to install software?

No, everything runs directly in the browser.

### Can I password-protect rooms?

Yes, you can password protect (in WordPress) the page where you add the by.Video
embed shortcode.
