You can easily create views and forms pointing to Dataverse tables and easily allow external stakeholders to create and update data. I would recommend being comfortable using FetchXML (use the XrmToolBox add-on) and get ramped up on Twig (almost identical to Liquid). I had some challenges with some of the popular page-editor plugins (like WPBakery) but if you add your code using an raw HTML element with the [icds_twig][/icds_twig] tags you should be good to go.
