What’s included:

title-tagsupport - Meta descriptions, with sensible fallbacks (excerpt, term description, author bio)

- Open Graph and Twitter Card tags
- Core Schema.org structured data: Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, WebPage/WebSite, BreadcrumbList, Article, and FAQPage

- A visual robots.txt editor
- Settings import/export
Optional Pro add-on
An optional Pro add-on is available separately (not through WordPress.org) for sites that want AI-assisted writing tools, advanced Schema types (Events, Courses, Products, Reviews, Video, Podcast), Core Web Vitals monitoring, multi-location SEO, programmatic page generation, Google Search Console rank tracking, and other advanced features. The free plugin works completely independently of it.

External Services
This plugin connects to the following external services under specific conditions:
WordPress AI Client (optional, Pro add-on only)
AI-powered features (Pro add-on only) are routed entirely through the WordPress AI Client (built into WordPress 7.0+). The site owner selects and configures their AI provider once at Settings Connectors. Neither the free plugin nor the Pro add-on contacts any AI provider’s API directly — all requests go through the WordPress AI Client, using whichever provider the site owner has configured there.
WordPress AI Client documentation: https://developer.wordpress.org/apis/ai-client/
Broken link checker
When the site owner manually runs a scan, the plugin sends HTTP HEAD requests to the URLs found in the site’s own published content to check whether each link still responds. No data about your site or visitors is transmitted beyond the standard HTTP request. Requests use WordPress’s safe HTTP API, which blocks requests to private/internal network addresses.
Canonical URL scanner
When the site owner manually runs it, the plugin fetches your own site’s XML sitemap to compare declared canonical URLs. It only requests URLs on your own domain, and only when you choose to run the scan.

FAQ
-
Does this plugin require an account, API key, or license to use?
-
No. Every feature listed above works immediately after activation with no signup, no API key, and no license key required.
-
Is this compatible with Yoast SEO or RankMath?
-
This plugin detects whether Yoast SEO or RankMath is active and automatically defers title and meta description output to them to avoid duplicate tags. Running more than one full SEO plugin at once is not recommended.
-
Is this compatible with Jetpack?
-
Yes. The plugin detects Jetpack and removes duplicate Open Graph tags, Twitter cards, robots meta, and schema output when both are active.
-
Does the plugin send data to external servers?
-
The free plugin does not send data to any external server. The optional broken-link scanner sends HTTP HEAD requests to URLs in your content when manually triggered. The optional canonical scanner fetches your own sitemap when manually triggered. The Pro add-on routes AI requests through the WordPress AI Client; no data is sent directly to any AI provider.

Changelog
1.1.3
- Fixed: The in-plugin “Go Pro” comparison page had two real problems. The pricing line said “1 site” — directly contradicting Pro’s multi-domain licensing (up to 3 domains). The comparison table was also missing several free-tier features entirely (Readability Analysis, Word-Form Keyword Matching, Alt Text Fallback, Broken Link Scanner) and had one misleading row (“AI Image Alt Text” showed free as unsupported, when free actually has a real filename-based fallback — now split into two accurate rows distinguishing the free fallback from Pro’s AI version). Also added Sitewide Audit Export and Multi-Domain License as new Pro-only rows.
1.1.2
- Added: Word-form keyword matching in the Readability & Content Analysis panel. Focus keyword checks (density, first paragraph, subheading, title, meta description) now recognize natural variations — plurals, past tense, -ing forms, -er and -ly forms — so a focus keyword like “coach” also credits “coaches” or “coaching” appearing in your content, not just an exact literal match. Checks now note when a variation (not the exact word) is what satisfied them, so nothing is hidden. Known limitation: irregular verbs (e.g. “run” “ran”) aren’t recognized, since that requires a full dictionary rather than spelling rules.
1.1.1
- Added: Alt Text Fallback — automatically fills in missing image alt text on upload using the attachment title or filename (cleaned up and made readable), with generic camera/screenshot filenames detected and given an honest fallback instead. Never overwrites alt text that’s already set, including intentionally blank alt text on decorative images. A new “Auto-fill missing alt text” bulk action in the Media Library backfills images uploaded before this feature existed. Toggle in Settings Sanctuary Tiger.
1.1.0
- Added: Real-time Readability & Content Analysis in the SEO metabox — focus keyword field with keyword-in-title/description/first-paragraph/subheading checks, keyword density, Flesch reading ease score, sentence length, passive voice %, transition word usage, paragraph length, and subheading distribution. All analysis runs client-side in the browser as you type — no server request, no AI call, no license required.
- Updated: FAQ schema field description now reflects Google’s May 2026 retirement of the visible FAQ rich-result accordion, and notes the markup’s continued value for AI answer engine citation.
1.0.3
- Updated: Go Pro learn-more link now points to the correct sales page.
1.0.2
- Changed: Go Pro buttons now link to the shop purchase flow.
1.0.1
- Fixed: settings import no longer converts ampersands to & inside FAQ, keyword, and link data.
- Fixed: custom schema JSON is now validated and preserved verbatim on import.
- Hardened: import handler no longer errors on scalar JSON values.
- Improved: Go Pro buttons now link directly to checkout.
1.0.0
- Initial public release.
